Good Friends....

My friend, Krista, ordered some Reusable Sandwich/Snack bags from me and then offered to sell a pile of them too. Here is the order I just finished and mailed off to Seattle today.

I could not have done this order without help from my friend, Susan, who is now cutting out the bags for me. This has saved me tons of time and headaches. Hopefully the headaches have not transfered to Susan now :).
It feels so good to have such giving friends! Thanks tons you two!

Photo Shoot!

One day I was in Hip Stitch buying more fabric! When Suzanne, one of the owners, was telling me about a photographer that took some great pictures of the store.

She was showing me some of the pictures on the photographer's blog when I saw that she was holding mini photo session at the UNM Duck Pond or the Bosque. With Hannah's 5th birthday coming up, I thought this would be a perfect opportunity to get her picture done. So, I emailed her.

Not five minutes later, who walks in the door -- the photographer, Ellen Benson! She was bringing Hip Stitch the CD of all the pictures. I introduced myself and told her I just emailed her about a photo shoot.

Meanwhile, we all began to look at the photo CD. I was the Artist of the month at Hip Stitch that month and I began to see my products in the photos and said so. Ellen asked if I made these items and said, "Let's do a swap!!"

And so, during the first weekend in October, we met in the Bosque and she shot some great photos of my family. They turned out great!!

Thanks Ellen and Hip Stitch!
